ATA Architects oversaw the interior renovations at McMaster University’s LR Wilson building in room 3803. Our team met with the school facilities manager and stakeholders to refine the design scope to better match the client’s programming and budget expectations and strategize programming between different social science and mental health research groups that would utilize the space.

The scope of work involved creating a new layout that included shared open office space, enclosed collaborative rooms, and personal offices for faculty members. Emphasis was placed on balancing circulation throughout the new layout and coordinating new and reused furniture within the suite. ATA worked collaboratively with engineers and furniture procurement specialists to create a functional and welcoming space for faculty and students.
