Al Farooq Mosque

After almost a decade in which the client and the community struggled to get site approval, ATA has been named the prime consultant for a new elementary school that will form part of the existing Masjid Al-Farooq Mosque complex in Mississauga. ATA worked conscientiously with the mosque’s leadership to ensure that the needs of this community – including maintaining the site’s Islamic vernacular – were achieved. The addition includes a 3-level below grade parking garage, a new entrance with office spaces, a large gymnasium and thoughtful classroom spaces.  The project is presently under construction.
